Fast bowler Tertius Bosch made a mess of the Barbados top order on his way to a 2nd innings 5-43 to all but ensure his selection for the 1st Test as the visitors started their tour with a 64 run win.
Richard Snell again bowled well, taking 3-54 to take his match haul to 10-126 and win the Man of the Match award.
Middle order batsman Floyd Reifer top scored with a gritty 48 but it was a case of too little too late.
South Africans won by 64 runs.
