Barbados v South Africans - 4 day match 1991/2 - Match Preview

Pitch: 18 - Distinctly a ‘green topper’ with the possibility that it will favour the bowlers throughout the match.
Winning the toss here will cause plenty of heart searching. The decision to bat must open up the
possibility of the loss of two or three quick wickets while the ball is seaming around, thereafter
batting may be easier than at any other time in the match. Certainly by day 4 or 5 the bowlers are
likely to be back on top.

Weather: 1 - Hot and Humid

D.L.Haynes (c), P.A.Wallace, S.L.Campbell, C.A.Best, R.I.C.Holder, F.L.Reifer, C.O.Browne (wk), V.C.Drakes, O.D.Gibson, A.C.Cummins, W.E.Reid

South African XI:
